The Grieving Process
Coping with a death can result in stressful changes. Attempts to deny the pain and confusion of grief promote despair and loneliness. Gaining an understanding of the grief process in a caring and supportive atmosphere increases coping skills and leads to personal growth. The Bloomington-Richfield Grief Support Coalition is sponsoring a series of sessions dealing with grief and grieving.

Location: St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 1701 W. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington
Contact: Pastor Linda Willette 952-881-5801

Children's Liturgy of the Word - Sundays
At the 11:00 a.m. Mass, children are invited to come forward in the Sunday assembly after the Opening Prayer to go forth with prayer leaders to hear the stories of our faith at a level written for children. They also talk about and reflect upon what they hear Jesus saying to them in the Word, and how then to relate that to their daily life. Children return to the assembly for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.

Church Cleaning Help Needed - Mondays
Men and women are needed to help clean the church on Monday mornings for 45 minutes. You can work one, two, three or four Mondays a month. It's OK if you're away in the winter (or summer)! The more people who come to help, the easier it is for everyone. If interested, please call the parish office, 612-869-2426, and leave your name and phone number.
