If you or a loved one are injured, ill, preparing for a medical procedure or otherwise in need of healing, please contact the parish office. We can arrange for you to be anointed by a priest. If you call our office after hours, follow the emergency instructions to leave a message for Fr. Liekhus.
This Sacrament is not reserved for near-death situations - it is an opportunity to receive the grace of God's healing and the prayers of the community. Twice a year, we also offer this Sacrament in the context of a communal liturgy. People who are advanced in years, gravely ill, have developed a new illness, or have a current ailment has worsened may receive the sacrament of the anointing of the sick.
After Mass, proceed to the front pews of the church and have a seat (if there are a number of peope, and you can stand for an extended time you may be asked to be in the aisles between the front pews). Once everyone is gathered, the priest will lead prayer and anointing everyone who presents themselves.
