by Worship Team
This guide is offered for your prayer and reflection.
Jesus, gentle and humble of heart, came to bring peace to all people. We are called to live in His Spirit, to be gracious, merciful, and Compassionate to all.
SIGN OF THE CROSS
OPENING SONG: I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say Verse 1: I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Come unto me and rest: Lay down, O weary one, lay down your head upon my breast.” I came to Jesus as I was, so weary, worn, and sad: I found in him my resting place, and he has made me glad.
Verse 2: I heard the voice of Jesus say, “Behold, I freely give The living water; thirsty one, stoop down and drink and live.” I came to Jesus, and I drank of that life-giving stream; My thirst was quenched, my soul revived, and now I live in him.
Verse 3: I heard the voice of Jesus say, “I am this dark world’s light; Look unto me, your morn shall rise, and all your day be bright.” I looked to Jesus, and I found in him my star, my sun; And in that light of life I’ll walk till trav’ling days are done. OPENING PRAYER O God, who in the abasement of your Son, have raised up a fallen world, fill your faithful with holy joy, for on those you have rescued from slavery to sin you bestow eternal gladness. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

LORD’S PRAYER
PRAYER FOR PEACE Loving God, please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path You have laid out for me. I trust your love God, and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night may hope rise against anxiety and worry. Through Christ our Lord. Amen
BLESSING May God bless our days and our deeds with peace, in the name of the Father, + and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Now thank we all our God With hearts and hands and voices, Who wondrous things has done, In whom his world rejoices; Who from our mothers’ arms Has blessed us on our way With countless gifts of love, And still is ours today.
O may this bounteous God Through all our lives be near us, With ever joyful hearts And blessed peace to cheer us; Preserve us in his grace, And guide us in distress, And free us from all harm Till heaven we possess.
All praise and thanks to God The Father now be given, The Son, and him who reigns With them in highest heaven; The one eternal God, Whom earth and heav’n adore: For thus it was, is now, And shall be evermore.
