It is with very mixed feelings that, after four years, I am leaving St. Richard’s Church. I have chosen to accept an opportunity to take a position as the Pastoral Associate for Youth Faith Formation and Youth Ministry at the Church of St. Patrick in Hudson, WI. I say mixed feelings because I am both excited and very sad. This was a very difficult decision for me to make. I have come to know so many wonderful people here and truly feel that St. Richard’s Church is my home. There are so many youth who have touched my heart and I will miss you all but I will never forget you. All of the catechists, class aides, CLW facilitators, VBS volunteers, chaperones, FFC members, and drivers who have helped over the years are amazing and I wish to thank all of you. I couldn’t have done my job without you. Please continue to do what you do best for all of the kids in the parish! I am excited about my new position. I will be the Director of the Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Offices and staff. I will still be making mission trips and working with children, especially high school youth, which is my passion. St. Patrick is a parish of over 1700 families and Hudson is much closer to my home, which will be a nicer drive in the winter. I hope to return for NovemberFest and to support the youth mission trip fundraising events. Thank you all for your support and prayers. St. Richard’s Church is a very special place – one that I will miss very much. The Blackfeet have a saying, “We never say good-bye. We say, we will see you again. “ So, I will see you all again…
