I.Opening Prayer

III.Roster Updates
Review of the Vision Statements from Grow
IV.Capital Campaign/project updates
Only $3,008 away from meeting our campaign goal of $1,190,000
$413,283 cash in the bank to be used for the projects
99.7% of goal reached with 418 households pledging
Next meeting for the Campaign Follow Up will be focused on getting/keeping energy going for this campaign & projects
Interviewing masonry groups for the project on the exterior brickwork
V.Kitchen Policies
New gas oven with pilot lights
Need to educate on why the power source needs to be on at all times except in emergencies
Training with a select group of people who would know how to turn/work with the oven in the kitchen
Bloomington City came in to inspect and recommended that no person under the age of 15 allowed in the kitchen
VI.Leadership Discussion
Doris will be staying on as Chair for 2016-2017 year
1 of 3 remaining will be Co-Chair on their 2

Capital Improvement Update
Met with Jason on masonry work on 8/15/16 showing where work was needed
Unclear of what would be needed behind the bricks
Second bid was slightly larger bid but references was good as A rated & background check was clean
Skylights were delivered on 8/16 and installed this week
Bathroom remodel starting in September and done by mid-October
Discount on tile due to contacts made with Tim Springer
Drinking fountains installed & completed
Carpeting in the Chapel being looked at currently
Lighting was postponed as there is a backorder on the lights
Parking lot review/repair will be discussion for year 3
If savings on the brick work there is discussion on holding onto the fund until year 3 to see what additional needs may arise

Discussion of a possible new parish directory-next year
Finance- no Parish Council member assigned-Meeting this Thursday Night
Operation deficit of $50,000 for this year
Operation Support and how to get the message out
2011-2016 went down by 10% on regular contribution by Parish members
Pastoral Care-no Parish Council member assigned
Lost the caterer for the Senior Luncheon
Depression Collation group has been added
Faith Formation-Riyan
Meet and greet for the new people will be during the beginning of year
Dedication will be the weekend of Penn Fest
Looking at 3 classes a month
Focus on special formation for all people not just multi-generational
Mercy Works and tie it in with pancake breakfast/coffee shop
Engaging more people such as using the donated ping pong table
RCIA will be forming as finishing up the seeking portion this week
Multi-cultural activities-how can we engage and diversify and connect to our parish
Advent Event 12/11
Youth Ministry is looking to collaborate with other parishes in the area on this
VIII. School Discussion
Blessed Trinity is school for the 3 Richfield Parishes
Healy Foundation- 3-year program starting
Looking at ways to become a better school
Working with a development director for the program
Start with a governance board and put into place a corporate board with 3 non-voting pastors and 3 board members
First meeting was 8/16 and voted to disband the group
Work to put together a corporate board with the Diocese recommending members
Put together a limited jurisdiction board
IX.Staff/Council Event
Event to get together and be disciples/faith sharing
Find ways to use principles of discipleship
bring to the council like how to be intentional in our ministries
What are some small steps that groups can do to be more intentional?
