Charter parishioner Joe Krzyzaniak has passed to Eternal Life with the Resurrected Christ. Please pray for Joe, his wife Pam, their children and all who loved him as we mourn our loss and celebrate his life.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday,
Februay 7, preceeded by a 10:00am visitation and followed by a light luncheon. At the family's request, Fr. Kevin McDonough will preside. There will also be a vigil here at the church on Monday evening,
February 6, 5:00-7:00pm. We enourage you to come bid farewell to our friend and show our support for his family.
Rest eternal grant unto our brother Joseph, O Lord of Hope: and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in Peace. Amen.
"This coming week, on June 29, it will be 70 years since Joe and Pam Krzyzaniak married, following their courtship in London. They met while serving during WWII (Pam at US Headquarters and Joe in the Army Corp of Engineers). They had their first dinner date at a restaurant called Pan Pan and then attended USO dances. Joe took lessons and learned the "girl's part" so that he could teach Pam. Private lessons, competitions and performances were to follow for many years.
"After a six month engagement, they lived in Paris and Germany as Joe continued his service. Joe and Pam have been active members of our parish since 1960, including hosting the Aqua Gliders dance group during the past three decades. The Aqua Gliders retired this year, but Joe and Pam have plenty of dancing yet to come! We are blessed to celebrate these milestones as a parish family. If you have a big day approaching, let us know so that we can rejoice with you!"
