Cindy grew up in Iowa, the oldest of four girls, and has lived in the Twin Cities since 1982. Cindy has been dedicated to ministry in the church since she was in junior high, which her parents modeled by their work in the church.

Cindy began her ministry in liturgy and adult formation at St. Richard in October 2012. When Susie was hired as the new faith formation director in 2016 and took over adult formation, Cindy was able to shift more fully into the hospitality area, along with liturgy. Cindy completed her Food Safe Training in early 2019 and is the kitchen manager for St. Richard. She works closely with those who minister in our hospitality areas, including Coffee Shop, funeral lunches, pancake breakfasts, Fall Festival, New Member Committee and Blessed Trinity Catholic School.

Cindy works with all areas of liturgy/worship, including recruitment, training and support for all liturgical ministers, preparation of materials for worship, and coordinating weddings and funerals. She is the staff contact for the Worship Commission, which is responsible for planning our celebration of the liturgical seasons.

Cindy is in the parish office for business hours Tuesdays—Thursdays and some Mondays, as well as on weekends.
