II.Stewardship Pledges
The number of pledges and amounts raised over the last 3 years at week 4
2014 in week 4 had 322 pledges for $490,227
2015 in week 4 had 339 pledges for $511,563
2016 in week 4 had 266 pledges for $471,686
Have pledge cards in the pews to be filled out to be more available for people to be used if forgotten
Find a positive norm to let people know what the pledges will be going to. Let the parish know what good the funds are doing
Give suggestions to those who can’t give monetary options to use their gifts elsewhere
III.Capital Campaign Funds
$497,104 has been raised for projects
1st year estimated giving was 40%, 2nd year estimated giving was 30%, 3rd year estimated giving at 30%
IV.Loaves and Fishes Update
Informational-Question was asked for $300 more in donation. Jolene and Rosemary were asked how this is worked there is a certain amount of funds given and they go to Sam’s Club to buy the food. They applied for a grant for Catholic Relief services and a grant was awarded for $400 for this program. The funds were deposited on 11/14. This is a reoccurring grant. Yearly budget of $1,600 is given for this program. Feed 155 to 275 people on $135 per month.
V.Fall Festival Summary
Too early to report out on the amount was received
Same number of tickets sold for Spaghetti Dinner in 2016 as 2015
About 200 tickets sold for the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday
Discussion on thoughts for next year-what worked well, what could be improved
Time of drawing change or the end of the silent auction-Have these at done at the same time? 12:30 is when Pancake Breakfast stops serving-what should the timing be?
Time for bingo too long or short-Suggested idea to have Bingo be reduced by 30 minutes
Christmas Store-Suggested increase in the price point for the items with the lowest possible amount being $0.50
Treasure Trove-Was this better/same or worse than the Cherry Tree? Suggested to put specific parameters on what is being donated, possibly hold onto a variety of items with various monetary amounts to be put out as volume goes down throughout the day
Suggested that popcorn be complementary as well as having parish information and volunteer opportunities available for non-parish members who come to the Fall Festival
Larger variety of crafts available along with quality
Staff and volunteers were professional and friendly was a comment received from a vendor
Concern expressed that per last meeting minutes stated that this was not a major fundraiser and was more of a community/networking group-what is the identify of this event? Is this a fundraiser or community building event? There is more clarification needed as both sides have been presented. How is this being marketed? If we are bringing in a child friendly games/events finding someone to run the events and plan would lean more towards community builder but how do we meld the two events together. What should be the mission statement for this event be?
If the identity is to be a craft fair to get the children involved with craft ideas like making Christmas cards, ornaments, centerpieces for the Senior Lunch. Would need to have a person to run this event
Rummage Sale has not been proven to make a large amount of funds. Do people believe that the Fall Festival is a roll over from the Rummage Sale? The Rummage Sale is meant to be more of a community builder then fundraising event.
VI.Committee Updates
Faith Formation Update -12/10 Event; Confirmation class went to the Poor Clare’s
Facilities-Pricing for 3 school bathrooms was given at the last meeting
What else is going to be happening in the next year and some projects are moved up
A parishioner came in and cut down some of the dying trees and next year the stumps will be ground down
Dumpster location-are they in the proper area and will they be fenced in, if so will need to get pricing
Funds for the school and the sound system
Gym/Social Hall-what will we do, what should be done. Will bring in all areas of leadership to decide what needs to be done by seeing what purpose the space is needed and used for. Looking at the long term vision for this space.

VII. Winter Celebration
“Friendraiser” to be done Mid Winter-would be an opportunity to gather for fellowship
Suggested to have a Hawaiian Theme, Beach theme, Sock Hop/50s theme, Big Band theme, Game Night
This would be fronted by the Parish Council
