The
Sharing our Gifts, Building our Future Capital Campaign is almost at an end! Our Commitment Weekend has been rescheduled for April 23-24, due to the need to communicate the information regarding potential lawsuits against parishes.
We have secured 94% of the pledges necessary to see all of our projects funded! As of Wednesday, March 29, 390 families have pledged $1,124,000 of our final goal of $1,190,000. If you have not yet pledged, please consider what God is calling you to do to help secure the future of St. Richard’s Catholic Church for the next generation and be ready to fill out a pledge card Commitment Weekend!
If you have already pledged, rest assured that donor intent will be carried out. All campaign pledges go into a separate bank account that will be overseen by the our Finance Council and staff. Projects will go forward as finances and circumstances allow.
All gifts to the capital campaign are donor designated for the specific purpose as described in the capital campaign materials. These funds are held in a separate bank account.
We are working with our attorneys to make sure the parish can and will honor the donor intent of all donations to the capital campaign.
It is our expectation and intention that all donations to the capital campaign be applied to the projects described in the capital campaign materials.
Commitment weekend has been rescheduled for
April 23 and 24.
Please pray that this April 23-24 we will see a generous outpouring of support from the St. Richard’s Catholic Church family and meet our final goal!
