In light of the developing public health situation, including an increase of reported COVID-19 cases in Minnesota, our parish leadership is prayerfully discerning the next steps for our parish family. Jesus tells us that whatever we do for the least – the most vulnerable – of our brothers and sisters, we do for Him (Mt 25:40). We know that there are a lot of strong feelings about having been without the Eucharist for so long – that grief and loss is very real for each of us.
We have formed a safety committee to address the need for supplies that we still need to obtain, and the worship committee is also involved in the planning process. We commit to making our decisions under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the advice of the best medical experts, following Jesus’ direction to protect all of God’s children.
As this process unfolds over time, we are continuing to offer weekend Masses online at www.strichards.com/from-home. The recorded Mass will be posted around 5:00pm on Saturday and be available through Sunday.
UPDATED JUNE 14, 2020: Our first live, in-person Mass since the pandemic shut-down is scheduled for Sunday, June 21! Everyone who wishes to attend that Mass will need to pre-register.
