The 2021 Confirmation Class is seeking donations to help our local community, such as the homeless people or families, during these challenging times.
Confirmation candidates will be accepting donations before and after weekend Masses:
March 6 & 7 & March 13 & 14
Door #3
As part of our Confirmation class service project, we candidates will be putting together the Blessing Bags on March 14. But WE NEED YOUR HELP providing donation items.
Here's an informational flyer that lists suggested donation items.
Please donate what you can or let us know if you would benefit receiving bags!
The weekend of March 20 & 21, 2021 completed Blessing Bags will be available for anyone to pick-up after Masses to personally share with people you see who are struggling.
Contact Susie or Beth in Faith Formation with questions.

GENERAL OVERVIEW. Confirmation preparation is intended for youth who are already baptized, have received First Eucharist, and are seeking to deepen their commitment to Christ and the Catholic Church through the Sacrament of Confirmation. It is a two year* program of catechesis, personal faith development, and service for those entering 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade.
INFORMATION FOR 2020-2021. For 2020-2021, we are offering a hybrid type youth Confirmation preparation process, which will consist of both on-line and in-person components. All interested candidates are required to have a 1-on-1 interview with the Director of Faith Formation. Parents are welcome to be part of that interview. Your family's comfort with attending in-person sessions/events will be assessed at that time.
The Parent/Candidate Welcome/Orientation took place on Sunday, November 1, 2020. If you were unable to attend the session and do not yet have your materials, use the link above to sign-up for a time to pick them up at the church no later than Sunday, November 8.
The Archdiocese offers special classes each August for baptized Catholics with special needs/mental or physical disabilities, age 16 or older, who would like to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Attendance at both sessions is required for candidates and guardians. To learn more or to register, please contact Deacon Eric Gunderson or Sonya Flomo at 651-291-4488 or flomos@archspm.org.
Thanks to all who donated, put together blessing bags for the homeless the afternoon of January 26th, and helped in any way to make this service project a wonderful way to come together in service to others. Special blessings to those who will receive the bags. After participants took as many blessing bags as they wanted to hand out, 232 blessing bags will be delivered to Simpson Housing in Minneapolis by our Confirmation class!
