For your safety, ministers will not apply ashes by hand as is traditional. Instead, a fresh cotton swab will be used for each person. Please stay in your car with a mask covering your nose and mouth. Roll down your window and sanitze your hands when the minister approached.
Full St. Richard & Assumption Ash Wednesday Liturgy Schedule:
-8:00am Mass with distribution of ashes at Assumption
-12:15pm Mass with distribution of ashes at St. Richard
-1:15pm Drive-up Communion with distribution of ashes at St. Richard
-7:00 pm Mass (Spanish) at Assumption
-7:00pm Liturgy of the Word with distribution of ashes, at St. Richard
-7:45pm Drive-up Distribution of ashes at St. Richard
Pre-registration is required for the indoor liturgies.
Ash Wednesday is not a holy day of obligation, however, this special liturgy with ashes is a distinctive part of our Christian tradition.
