Confirmation preparation is intended for those youth who are baptized, have received First Eucharist, and are seeking to deepen their commitment to Christ and the Catholic Church through the Sacrament of Confirmation. It is a two year program of catechesis, personal faith development, and service for those entering 9th grade and above.
An information session for parents and prospective candidates was held August 27, 2017. The program requirements and expectations were presented at that time. Here is a summary of the preparation goals.
Next steps?
1. Potential candidates schedule a one-on-one conversation with the Director of Faith Formation by September 15, 2017. Click here to review list of questions prior to conversation.
2. Candidate and parent complete a reflection paper due by October 1. Select 1 of 3 questions. You may arrange to deliver the reflection in person.
Meeting times for 2017-2018 will take place Sunday, 12:15 - 2:00pm, and will include a shared meal to be provided by parents (sign-up at first session)
