I. Opening Prayer

II. Plaza and Car Issues
Issues with cars pulling up onto the plaza and using it as a driveway
Will have notices placed in the bulletin for a few weeks requesting cars to not drive up on the plaza and will then place up signage if needed
Diane will write up a notice requesting this information
III. Gifts Celebration
An opportunity to show how church members can become involved in all of the active ministries that St. Richard’s Church has available
PCM’s be possible liaisons between the other active ministry groups
PCM have a table to answer questions about the Parish Council
Write up for the Gifts Celebration will be going in this week’s bulletin
Possible have a suggestion box on the PCM table for what you would like to see at St. Richard’s Church in regards to possible ministry groups
IV. Update on Committee Status
Finance Committee-Meeting is Thursday, March 19th
Facilities Committee-Meeting with Finance Committee on March 19th.Will be presenting possible projects to be completed.
Company will be coming in to assess the entire building with a detailed list of all items that need to be worked on to upkeep the building and improve the building going forward
Report will be completed by July by Bob at Creative Concepts
Faith Formation
Season is coming to a close with closing meeting on Sunday 3/22/15
Adult Faith Formation
Meeting on 3/3 to start the conversation
Volunteers came forward to help start & lead the group
Parishioner Recourses Committee-No new updates at this time
Worship Committee-Next Meeting is April 11th
Pastoral Care Committee-No new updates at this time
Justice Committee-Maybe a subgroup under the faith formation committee
V. Diversity Information
Small group discussion with members of the parish
Sustainability is lacking as they don’t feel an investment after the initial welcome
Legion of Mary group is not one that St. Richard’s Church has, it’s an outreach group run by lay persons, rosary, prayer and service
Cultural differences such as different calendars and time
Possible International Food Festival-bring it back for use?
VI. PC Rotation Status
One year commitment for current members is up
Depending on how each council member decides a rotating schedule will be put in place for remaining members to rotate off
Continue to look for persons in the parish that might be a good fit to join the council when rotation occurs
VII. Vision Statement Review
Vision Statement 1 Will have a fully functional pastoral council & parish structure defined-Yes completed
Vision Statement 2 Will have a fully employed appropriate forms of media/communication for the purpose of assuring fullest possible communication to the parish-Work in progress
Vision Statement 3 Will increase new total household membership by 10%-Work in progress
Vision Statement 4 Will have 25% more active parishioners-Tied to weekend of celebration
Vision Statement 5 Will have increased giving to 100% of the parish-Work in progress
Vision Statement 6 Will have Parish Faith Formation well defined, intentional and begun implementation of a program that covers multi generations-First step has been completed
