Stewardship: Walking the Path With Jesus
As we journey through life, we are graced with blessings and gifts from our Almighty Father. How do we use these gifts and how do we give thanks to God? The act of Stewardship allows us to take those gifts of time, talent and treasure and demonstrate our love of God and of our fellow man.We are at a time of discernment and being asked to be part of the process. Jesus has provided us with many examples of how we are called to be Stewards. One way of fulfilling the call to Stewardship, is by pledging part of our treasurer, to the Church, for the continuance of it’s mission and the worship and celebration of our Lord.
Let us pray for guidance as we make our decisions and that we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, down the path of Stewardship.
Over the next two weeks, you will be hearing about the Walking the Path with Jesus Stewardship Program at our parishes. We ask that all faithful parishioners make a commitment to stewardship during our special Commitment Weekend that will be celebrated Nov. 23-24. If you have any questions regarding the Walking the Path with Jesus program, contact Rick Zilka [email protected].
